Our Kiteboarding School in Lanzarote is based on kite safety, professionalism and lots of fun… In order to achieve our goals, we focus on the following:<\/p>\n

1. Teaching Spot Characteristics<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The 5 Km sand beach of Famara has ideal wind conditions to learn and practice kiteboarding. Famara beach is also an obstacle free beach free of buildings, piers and the rest of obstacles found in other kite spots out there. The „alisios“ trade winds blowing from March until October with an on-side-on direction makes this spot a very safe & fun one to learn or practice kiteboarding.<\/p>\n

2. IKO Certified Instructors<\/strong><\/h3>\n

As mentioned before, all instructors are skilled kiteboarders and have many years experience teaching kiteboarding at all levels. All are certified IKO Level 2 senior instructors.<\/span> They are friendly and competent. All are certified by<\/span> European Lifeguard Association<\/span> and schooled in water safety. They have extensive training in teaching beginner to<\/span> advanced kiteboarding techniques.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

3. Individualized Teaching Program<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Our teaching program has been developed according to IKO standards. You will learn step by step on the safest and most fun way<\/span>. Our instructors work on student\u2019s level and needs during their learning\/<\/span>training with us. At Costanoroeste, <\/span>we also maintain a low student-to-teacher ratio to ensure you receive the attention you need.<\/p>\n

Our instructors will make sure that you learn all the kite safety measures for yourself and for the others in the water.\u00a0 They will teach you safety systems activation, spot selection, meteorology knowledge, equipment safety devices and systems, wind knowledge, self rescue, and even more.<\/p>\n

4. Kite School Equipment<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Costanoroeste Kiteboarding School is a Naish Pro Center working<\/span> with the latest Naish equipment, along<\/span> other leading brands such as Rip Curl (wetsuits), Gath (helmets), Motorola (radio devices). We offer a very low student-to-teacher ratio (1\/4) and supply all necessary material (kites, harness, helmet, wetsuit, board, etc.). Our classes are radio-assisted (you will be in constant contact with our instructor, even when in the water) and we supply up to date equipment, safety systems as well as helmets and life vests.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
